Going Undercover

Content Advisory: Erotic
Smoke hung heavy in the air. Nina watched the guy with the long, dark hair strumming his guitar onstage. Undercover work sucked most of the time but she thought she’d enjoy this particular assignment. Not often did she get to follow rock star types around and pretend to be a groupie. It was like reliving her teenage years.
Her sergeant had scored her a backstage pass so she could meet Blake Chambers, lead guitarist for the rock band Demonic Intentions.  She had to try to break into his inner circle. The Drug Enforcement Agency had a list of potential drug addicts that they thought could lead them to an upper level dealer in a methamphetamine ring.
Nina was picked to infiltrate the rock scene because at twenty-eight, she was younger than the other women in her division and could easily pass for a twenty year old college student. She wore her shoulder length blonde hair in pigtails and went heavy on the eyeliner, eye shadow and dark red lipstick. Jeans, a too-tight Metallica t-shirt and slutty heels completed her disguise and she fit right in. Her badge and service weapon were tucked into her purse right next to a bottle of hairspray and a pack of bubble gum. She could totally pull off the ditzy blonde persona.
She blew a bubble and tried to make eye contact with her target. The venue for the show was small and created a much more intimate setting. Blake kept a bottle of beer on the stage floor and would drink between songs but didn’t seem to give much attention to anyone in the audience. His eyes were closed most of the time and he seemed to be solely focused on playing his music. His long fingers danced over the strings with concentrated precision while his hair hung in a ponytail down his back.
It was undeniable that musicians held a certain sex appeal. She’d been in lust with many a rock star over the years. She was curious to actually meet one up close and personal even if her ultimate goal was to use him to catch a bigger fish in the drug dealing ocean.
The band finally played their last set and Nina made her way to the stairs and flashed her backstage pass at the burly security guard who blocked her path. She smiled and winked at him while popping her gum.
He rolled his eyes and waved her through. No doubt, he assumed she was another band whore looking to jump into the back of the bus with anyone she could.
People stirred everywhere, talking loud and moving instruments and lights. Nina ducked into a hallway and took a deep breath. She practiced what she’d say when she approached Blake.
“I’m a big fan…I love your hair. How long have you been playing the guitar?”  All of it sounded so stupid. She laughed and turned around and ran smack into a man’s chest and dropped her purse which hit the floor with a heavy thud.
He bent over and picked up her bag. “Whoa. What you got in there? A brick?”
She looked up into that familiar face and took her purse from his grasp. “Hairspray and girl stuff.” She smiled at him and touched her hair.
He smiled back. “I guess so.”
“A girl’s gotta keep up appearances. Ya’ know?” She tilted her head and blew a bubble. The attraction was instant like putting fire to gasoline.
“Well, you’re doing a good job.” Pale brown eyes stared down at her. They were so light, they almost appeared hazel. He didn’t look like a meth addict. Up close, there were no dark circles under his eyes, his skin was clear and smooth and he had a gorgeous smile with nice teeth.  Not to mention he was decently built, not skinny like a druggie.
“Thanks.” She stuck her hand out. “I’m Nina.”
He gripped her hand and shook it. “Blake. Nice to meet you.”
“Likewise.” She looked around. “I’ve never been backstage before. Busy place.”
“Yeah. A lot goes into putting on a show. Most people have no idea.”
“It must be exhausting. All the traveling and rehearsals and shows and parties.”
He took her hand and pulled her down the hall. “It gets old fast. I need to shower and change out of these clothes. Wanna hang out on the bus for a few?”
Nina shrugged. “Sure.” Getting information out of him might be easier than she thought. She followed him down the hallway and out a side exit door. The tour bus was about ten yards from the door and, surprisingly, there was nobody outside. No one saw them climb on the bus.
Blake locked the door behind them. “You want a drink or something? There’s a stocked fridge and bar.”
Her mouth was dry and her adrenaline pumped. “Sure.”
The inside of the bus looked like a house or a really nice mobile home. A black curtain separated the driving area from the living area. There was a couch and a table with chairs, a dishwasher, microwave and stove. He pulled open the double doors of the refrigerator. “Help yourself.”
She grabbed a Sprite and popped the top. “Thanks.” A stack of CDs sat on the bar. She picked one up. It was one of his albums.
“You can take one of those if you want to.”
“Really? Cool. Will you sign it for me?”
He laughed. “If you want me to.” He pointed to the couch along the windows. “Have a seat. I’ll be right back.” Blake disappeared into the back of the bus and she heard water running.
While he was in the shower she took the opportunity to snoop around a bit. She opened cabinets and checked under the couch cushions. She separated the black curtains and peered into the driver’s area. A can of Dr. Pepper sat in the cup holder and a pack of Newport cigarettes were in the passenger seat. When the water turned off, she closed the curtain and hurried back to her seat and sipped her soda. There was nothing around that indicated Blake, or anyone else for that matter, was using drugs. No paraphernalia or suspicious dust or residue.
Maybe the DEA was on the wrong track. She found herself hoping they were because she kind of liked this guy. Something about him put her at ease and it was a good feeling when she constantly had her guard up around people.
Blake emerged in a pair of jeans and no shirt. Sweet baby Jesus. That ratty t-shirt he wore before did a great job of covering up one hell of a body. His muscled torso was covered in tattoos, intricate designs in black and gray. His wet hair hung loose down his back. He opened the fridge and took out a beer.
Nina bit her lip to keep her mouth from dropping open.
He sat down beside her. The scents of soap and toothpaste wafted toward her. Raising the bottle to his lips, he took a long pull off the beer before settling his gaze on her. “So, you’re not a groupie. What’s your story, Nina?”
A nervous laugh escaped her and she thought quickly. “Actually, I won the tickets and backstage passes from a radio station. I’d never heard of you guys before that.”
His mouth twitched and he smiled at her. “Damn. Well, that explains you being calmer than most of the people I run into. You didn’t bring anyone with you?”
“Nope. It was last minute and no one could go. I was curious enough to venture out on my own.”
He draped his arm over the back of the couch. More tattoos covered his ribcage; words in Latin that she couldn’t quite decipher. It had been years since she’d read anything in that language.
“Brave girl.”
She shrugged. “I’m a loner.”
“There’s definitely something different about you. For the record, I don’t bring groupies back to the bus but I had a feeling I could trust you.”
She turned toward him and tucked a leg underneath her. “Good to know. Where is everyone else? The rest of the band, I mean.”
“Party. I didn’t feel like going. Too tired. I’m the old man of the group.”
“You are not. You can’t be more than mid-twenties.” She knew he was thirty-three but he looked much younger; another sign against him being a meth-head.
The conversation shifted and he told her about growing up in a small town in Michigan and how he taught himself to play the guitar when he was twelve. Before she knew it, two hours had passed and she almost forgot why she was there.
He caught her off guard by being both interesting and intelligent, nothing like the image the media portrayed of him. Without warning, he leaned over and kissed her. Soft lips touching hers, his tongue gently sweeping over her teeth.
She touched his face and he rested his hand on her thigh. The kiss heated up fast and his hand traveled over her hip and along her ribcage to find her breast. He teased her nipple with his thumb and finger, squeezing it through her t-shirt.
She knew she shouldn’t be doing this but all rationale left her as her heartbeat accelerated and her pussy throbbed. It was like she stepped off a cliff and entered a freefall. There was no turning back now.
As he moved his tongue in her mouth, she imagined what else he was capable of doing. He pulled back and stood abruptly. “Be back in a second.”
Nina took a deep breath and blinked. “Okay.” She hoped he had a condom because she might die if he didn’t fuck her.
A light blue blanket was tucked under his arm when he returned. “Get up for a second.”
She stood and watched him fold the blanket in half and tuck it into the cushions. Taking advantage of the moment, she slipped her feet out of the horribly uncomfortable heels. Losing the four inches of height, she realized he was tall, over six feet.
He picked up a remote control and pressed a button. Soft music filtered into the bus and he smiled at her. “Wanna dance?”
She hadn’t seen that coming and just nodded. A little romance was a nice touch.
He pulled her close and splayed a hand across her back. They swayed slowly and he stared at her. “Take your hair down. The pigtails are cute but make me feel like a pervert.” He froze. “You’re over eighteen, right?”
Nina laughed. “Definitely. About ten years past eighteen.”
He exhaled loudly. “Thank God.”
She tugged the elastic bands out of her hair and shook her head, letting her blonde tresses fall where they may. “Better?”
He nodded and leaned down to kiss her again, his hands slid down her arms and moved to her waistband. He tugged at the hem of her t-shirt and pulled it over her head. He kneaded her breasts through her bra.
She wrapped her arms around his middle and pulled him closer. His obvious arousal pressed against her stomach and sent butterflies bouncing around her insides.
She couldn’t remember the last time someone affected her that way. She didn’t make a habit of jumping into bed with men, especially when she was supposed to be investigating them. There were no clues that would lead her to believe he was a criminal so she threw caution to the wind and let her body take over.
His fingers trailed over her back and unhooked her bra. The air conditioning blew down on her now naked breasts, stiffening further the already hard tips.
Blake circled his lips over her nipple and sucked softly while his hands busied the buttons on her jeans. In minutes, he had her stripped down to her panties and on her back on the velvety blanket.
He loomed over her, broad shoulders encasing her in his shadow as he rubbed her pussy over her panties. “Fuck. I want you. Now,” he growled into her ear.
“I want you, too.” Nina pulled at his jeans. “Take these off.”
He rose up on his knees and unfastened his pants and pushed them down over his hips.
She admired his cock, thick and long. Lifting her leg over his shoulder, he kissed her ankle and licked up her inner thigh. He worked her panties down her legs and tossed them aside before burying his face in her pussy.
Light licks swept over her clit and she arched her back, tangling her fingers in his hair. “Oh God. That feels so good. Don’t stop.”
He pushed two fingers inside her and rammed them deep and hard, over and over while he sucked her clit.
The pressure in her lower body increased and she pulled his hair, writhing beneath him. Heated pleasure flooded her body as her orgasm peaked. Her pussy clenched on his fingers and she moaned, her thighs squeezing his head.
Blake moved up her body, stopping to minister to her breasts, sucking one nipple, then the other. “You’re so sweet. I love your taste.”
“I can’t move.” She heard the sound of a foil wrapper being torn open.
“You don’t have to.” He angled his body between her legs and nuzzled her neck. “I got this.” He lifted up to look in her eyes.
Her breathing accelerated. “Fuck me.”
“Whatever you want, baby.”
Her muscles still contracted as he pushed his cock inside her. The instant friction of the head stretching her open drew a gasp from her. He was bigger than she thought.
He laced his fingers with hers, holding her hands above her head. “Damn. So tight. So hot. So wet.” Moving slowly, he buried his cock inside her. “How do you like it? Tell me what you want.” He kissed her neck, dragging his teeth down to her shoulder.
“Hard. Fast.”
He grinned at her and pinned her wrists with one hand while using the other to lift her leg up. “Perfect.” He withdrew slowly before plunging back into her hard, hitting her end. He stared at her with those hypnotic eyes. “Your pussy feels so good.”
They found their rhythm, moving together like they’d fucked a hundred times before. Nina teetered on the edge of another orgasm. He let go of her wrists and slipped his hands under her to grip her shoulders. He pulled down on her as he bucked up into her.
She screamed and dug her nails into his back. His cock slid over her G-spot with every thrust. Her body seized and shuddered as she came harder than before. Bright spots of light overtook her vision and she clung to him, whimpering.
“Jesus Christ.” His mouth crushed down on hers and he groaned, his body jerking. He slammed his cock into her one last time and collapsed, breathing in gasps. “I could get addicted to you.”
She laughed. “I’m totally okay with that. There are worse things to be addicted to.”

Prelude To a Bite

Content Advisory: Erotic
The ticking of the clock on the wall was the only sound in the room. This interview had been scheduled for over a month and confirmed twice and he was late. The sound check should have ended half an hour ago. Normally, Jana didn’t get nervous but Cooper Gray was the lead singer of one of her favorite bands.
The door burst open and slammed against the wall, shaking some plaster loose. A stocky man strode in, muttering to himself. He dropped his guitar on the floor before locking eyes on her.
“Who the fuck are you? I didn’t order a hooker.” He pulled his long, dark hair into an elastic band.
The loud bang of him slamming the door shut startled her and she jumped. Her voice caught in her throat. For once, she was at a loss for words. Her fingers shook as she groped for her press pass.
He rolled his eyes. “Another damn reporter. Great.”
“If this is a bad time—”
“You just can’t stop bothering people. Can you?” he yelled, moving closer, leering at her. “How did you get in here?”
Warning bells sounded in her head. She needed to get out of there before this got ugly. It wasn’t the first time she’d found herself in an unsavory situation while pursuing a story but this wasn’t a cold lead. She had a damned appointment.
The door creaked open slowly and another man stuck his head in. “Everything okay, Coop?”
Cooper whirled around. “Fuck off!”
The man stepped into the room. “Dude. Chill out. What’s the problem?” He was much taller than Cooper and rather imposing.
“I’m tired of these stupid bimbos poking their noses into my business. I’m out of here.” Cooper stormed out of the room slamming the door again.
Fame goes to some people’s heads. Jana couldn’t believe what an asshole he turned out to be. And to think she’d been a fan of his band. She made a mental note to toss that CD in the trash when she got home.
The stranger didn’t say anything but his mouth curved into a sympathetic smile revealing some sizable teeth.
Wait…are those…fangs? Oh, stop it you dumb blonde. He doesn’t have fangs, just big teeth. Look at him…everything is big.
Jana shivered. An image flashed in her mind of him scraping his teeth over her flesh. Her pulse sped up and her mouth went dry as her adrenaline spiked even higher.
She shook the scene from her brain and exhaled audibly and put her trembling hand to her throat. “What the hell is wrong with him?”
“Ego. Bigger than this arena. And he’s a moody bastard.”
She rested her face in her hands. “Jesus Christ, I need a drink.”
“You want a Coke?”
“I meant something a little stronger,” she said.
He laughed. “I don’t think you need that.”
A mini refrigerator sat in the corner beside a table covered with small bags of chips and trail mix and an empty Jack Daniels bottle. Typical rock star dressing room.
He removed a can of soda and popped the top. “Here.”
She sipped the Coke. “Thanks, again.”
“Feeling better?” He flashed another smile.
“I’m not a bimbo, you know.”
“I didn’t say you were.”
“No. But he did.”
“And after the way he just behaved, you’re inclined to give some credence to his opinion?”He sat down on the chair at the table and waited while she finished her drink.
She grabbed her notebook and purse and stood up.
“Are you okay? Ready to blow this pop stand?” He walked toward the door.
“Yes and yes.”
“I’ll walk you to your car.” He stepped aside, leaving room for her to pass.
“I don’t have a car here. I’m staying at the Hilton, so I walked over. I didn’t want to deal with the traffic.”
“Okay. I’ll walk you back then.” He pulled a pack of cigarettes out of his jeans pocket and shook one out, balancing it precariously between his lips. The street light above them glinted off the shiny silver Zippo as he lit the cigarette.
“Got an extra?”
He smiled. “There’s only twenty in a pack. No extras, but I’ll give you one.”
She laughed and shook her head. “Smart ass.”
He offered the pack to her and she took one out. He lit it for her and she pulled in a drag. She didn’t smoke often but her nerves needed it tonight. Normally, she wouldn’t be rattled by someone like Cooper Gray. But she was disappointed in how he turned out to be.
She stared at him. “How did you know there was a problem?”
He blew out smoke and said, “I heard him yelling at you.”
She looked down at her shoes. “I’ve interviewed jerks like him before, but he did scare me. I don’t know what I did to piss him off so bad.”
“It’s not your fault. He’s always a motherfucker.”
“If you hadn’t stepped in, I may have pepper sprayed him.”
As they approached the hotel entrance, he dropped his cigarette and stepped on it. “You wanna get some coffee? There’s a little café inside.”
She did the same with her cigarette. “Sure.” Since the interview didn’t take place, she had some time to kill.
The hostess seated them in a booth toward the back of the diner and left menus in the middle of the table.
“Are you hungry?” he asked.
“Not really. I’ll just have coffee.”
A dark haired waitress pulled a pad from her apron and shifted her weight from one foot to the other. “What can I get for you folks?”
“Two coffees, please,” he said, handing the menus to her.
“You got it.” She dropped the pad back into her pocket.
Once they had their coffee and a full carafe, Jana took a sip. “You’re not like other guys. I can’t fully put my finger on it, but there’s something different about you.”
He smirked. “I hear that a lot.”
She leaned forward. “I bet you do.” His hair hung just past his shoulders and he looked like he needed a shave, not the type she was usually attracted to but something about him drew her in.
“You’re not from around here, are you?” he asked.
“No. I’m here on business.”
“For how long?”
“Two more days.”
He nodded his head. “Cool.”
“So, are you in a band?” she inquired, adding more sugar to her coffee and swirling a spoon around her cup.
He laughed and the corners of his eyes crinkled slightly. “No.”
“Do you work for Cooper?”
“Not directly, no. I work for the arena. Are you interviewing me, Miss…”
“Mills. Jana Mills. And I’m trying not to.”
“Nice name.”
“And you are?”
“Sean.”
“Okay, Sean. Nice to meet you.” She held her hand out.
He shook it gently. “Likewise.”
His hand was twice the size of hers and she didn’t want to let go. Tranquility filled her, pulsing through her veins and she closed her eyes. All the anxiety dissipated. Her bunched up nerves uncoiled and relaxed. Had she been lying down, she would have fallen asleep.
Jana opened her eyes and found him watching her. “What did you just do?”
His eyes glinted gold. “I’m not doing anything. You’re simply unwinding yourself.”
“How do you do that thing with your eyes?”
He smirked. “You ask a lot of questions, Jana.”
She pulled her hand away. “I’m a reporter, so I’m curious by nature. I’m sorry.”
“No apology needed. I don’t mind.”
She bit her lip and looked him in the eye. “Thank you for saving my ass and for being so nice to me.”
“You’re welcome. You don’t have to keep thanking me. I didn’t really do anything but interrupt at an opportune time.”
“Perfect timing.”
He left money on the table to cover the bill and tip.
“I’ll walk you to your room. Make sure you get in okay,” he said, touching her back as they left the diner.
“Okay.” Thoughts popped into her head like a premonition. She couldn’t explain how, but she already knew she would invite him in.

Her room at the Hilton was nice. A king sized bed covered in a chocolate colored duvet sat in the center of the room. On either side, dark wood nightstands held expensive looking lamps. Jana dropped her purse and notebook on the overstuffed chair in the corner and turned around.
Sean stood in the foyer, leaned against the wall.
“Are you waiting for an invitation to come in?” she asked.
“Maybe.” He smiled.
Jana laughed. “Okay. Well, come on in. I need to get out of these heels.” Her feet ached and she kicked off her shoes. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she wiggled her toes and shrugged out of her cardigan. “That is so much better.”
“Nice room.”
“The newspaper usually puts us up in decent hotels. Do you want a drink?” She pointed at the refrigerator. “It’s stocked.”
“These hotels ream you on those little bottles.”
“Don’t worry about it. Drinks are on the house.” She smiled and opened the door revealing an assortment of alcohol. “What’s your poison, Sean?”
He took a bottle of Maker’s Mark and Jana opted for tequila. They clinked their bottles together.
“Cheers,” she said.
They emptied a few bottles each and after benignly chatting for awhile they fell silent. The only window in the room stretched from floor to ceiling. He walked over and pulled the drapes aside. “There’s a full moon tonight.” He looked at her over his shoulder.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, she sucked in her breath. In that instance, she’d never wanted someone to envelop her more and she had no idea why. She didn't hop into bed with strangers.
His eyes bore into her, breaking down what was left of her defenses and chasing away her inhibitions. He took a step toward her. He toed off his shoes and took another step.
Unable and unwilling to look away, Jana wrapped her arms around herself to stifle a shiver. Butterflies bounced around her stomach and she wanted him in a way she couldn’t explain.
As if reading her mind, Sean pulled his t-shirt over his head and dropped it on the floor.
Mesmerized by the smooth muscles of his chest and the bulge of his biceps, Jana bit her lip to keep her mouth from dropping open. Sweet Jesus.
He crossed the room and took her hands in his, lifting her to her feet.
The thought to say no didn’t cross her mind as his hands snaked underneath her top and tugged at the cups of her bra. She removed her shirt and reached behind her back to unhook her bra.
Sean looked down at her bare chest and back up to her face. He cupped her chin between his thumb and finger, tipping her head up. “You’re gorgeous.” He brought his mouth down on hers, harder than she expected.
She grabbed his arm to steady herself as his tongue swept over her lips and pushed into her mouth.
His fingers lightly traced a line from her shoulder to her breast. He strummed her nipple, coaxing it into a hard point and sending a jolt straight to her pussy.
Her knees weakened and she moaned into his mouth.
He continued to play with her nipple before pulling out of the kiss and lowering his face to her chest. He closed his lips over the pink tip and sucked gently.
Jana’s hands trembled as she placed them on his head, weaving her fingers into his light brown hair. She looked down at the tattoo on his back. The swirls of color and image intoxicated her, making her head spin.
Sean bit down on her nipple and his other hand slipped under her skirt.
Her clit throbbed in anticipation of his touch. She stepped her feet apart to give him better access.
He rubbed her through her panties and looked up at her face, releasing her nipple from his teeth. “You like that?”
She nodded and tried to control her breathing. “Yes.”
He straightened and grabbed her hips, pulling her against him, his obvious arousal pressing into her stomach before he picked her up and set her back on the bed. Lifting her ass up, he pulled her skirt over her hips and tossed it aside, leaving her clad in just her panties.
Popping the buttons on his jeans, he never broke eye contact. His strong jaw tensed as he let his pants fall to the floor.
She looked at his naked form, her eyes settling on his thick cock. Her limbs tingled and her pulse accelerated. Instinctively, she opened her legs, silently beckoning him to take her.
Kneeling on the bed, he crawled between her legs and pushed her thighs open wider. He hooked a finger into the crotch of her panties and pulled them aside. “Mmmm…I’m going to enjoy every drop of this.” A low growl sounded from his throat like a hungry animal. He spread her open, exposing her swollen clit.
Jana gasped as his tongue made tiny circles around her sensitive nub. She dug her heels into the mattress and ground her pussy against his mouth.
He closed his lips on her clit and sucked gently.
She arched her back and trembled, already on the verge of coming. Every ounce of tension in her body gathered in the spot where his mouth covered her.
His fingers found her slit and he pushed two inside, curving them up to stroke her G-spot.
“Oh, God. God. I’m gonna come,” she panted. Her body tensed and her clit pulsed.
Sean sucked harder and slid his fingers deeper into her cunt. His other hand slipped under her ass and squeezed hard.
Her muscles turned fluid and her vision blurred. She clutched at his head, trying to hold onto to her consciousness. Her breath caught and everything went black. His growls filled the silence as he devoured her; licking, sucking, biting. The sensation intensified and she erupted in one delicious wave after another.
“Damn. You’re so wet. I can’t wait to slide my cock in you.”
She exhaled and tried to move her arms. She blinked and he slowly came back into focus, poised above her.
His eyes shone gold and his breathing grew heavy. “I can’t wait any longer.” His voice changed, taking on a gravely, animalistic tone.
He pulled her panties down her legs and left them on the edge of the bed.
Her hands slid up his chest, dragging her nails to his shoulders where she gripped him.
Using his hips, he inched her legs apart. He pulled her arms away from his chest and locked his hands with hers, holding them beside her head. He leaned in close to her neck. “Don’t be afraid, Jana.”
“I-I’m not,” she whispered.
“I can smell your fear…and your arousal. You can’t lie to me.” He scraped his teeth over her collarbone. “I won’t hurt you.”
His erection pressed against her inner thigh and he slid up slightly, positioning himself at her entrance.
She moaned. “I want you.”
He rocked his hips, burying his cock inside her.
She whimpered. He filled her and stretched her like no one ever had. She lifted her legs, silently encouraging him to delve deeper.
“Fuck." He gritted his teeth. "So hot. So tight.” He pulled back and entered her again, establishing a steady rhythm, going deeper with each thrust. He let go of her hands and cupped her face. Lowering his lips to hers, he kissed her softly, stroking her cheek with his thumb. With every thrust, his shaft rubbed the sensitive spot inside her and the familiar tension gathered, building a delicious pressure. She reached between her legs, her fingertips feeling his dick sliding into her pussy. Her body tightened and she massaged her clit.
“That’s right. Come for me, again. I want to feel it.”
“Oh, yes. I am. I’m coming. Sean…” She gathered the bedspread into her clenched fist as her body quaked with the second release and she screamed.
“Good girl.” He ground his cock deep into her.
On the verge of hyperventilating, Jana pulled in several deep breaths.
He nuzzled her breast, licking her nipple. “You alright, babe?”
She nodded.
“Good. Because I’m not done with you yet,” he whispered, sucking the hard peak.
A primal sound built in his throat and he reached under her to grip her shoulders. Burying his face against her neck, he panted. Scraping his teeth over her skin, he bit her and sucked.
An odd calm spread through her as he rocked his hips in a slow, deep rhythm.
He’s hypnotizing me. He must be. But, damn, it feels so good.
His body stiffened and he broke the suction on her neck. Groaning, he twitched and pulsed inside her.

Cuddled up against his shoulder, she couldn’t help but feel like Sean had done more than fuck her brains out tonight. There was a palpable shift in the atmosphere. She felt claimed. And she was okay with it, even if it was just for this night.
“Are you sleepy?” he asked, running his fingers through her hair.
“Not really. Just thinking about what a great story we would make.” She laughed.
“Maybe you should write it.”
“No. I don’t think I could put what happened between us down in words. I’ve never been with anyone like you.” She looked up at him and touched his jaw.
Moonlight filtered into the room through a crack in the drapes and his eyes flashed gold once more. “Tell me something, Jana. Have you ever interviewed a vampire?”
